EDUCATING WOMEN ABOUT CERVICAL CANCER
Our Mission is to empower, educate support the caregivers, cancer Survivors and people living with Cancer in Botswana to holistically achieve improved health and attain sustainable self development using community based Approach. The Fighters Support Group pride in excellence to undertake community focused programming to mobilize capacitate and empower people living with Cancer Caregivers and Survivors to improve their Health and development situations as well advocacy and change in their welfare by doing so, the cancer patients to realize equal opportunities on both community development and health.
Together, we are here to break this cycle and to prevent it from happening in the first place. When they have lost their voice, we help them find it again. When they have lost the ability to trust and connect with others, we show them that they belong. And when they lack confidence, we build up their courage and skills to thrive in the future.
Providing schools and communities with the tools needed to improve their health’s and increase awareness of a girl child; promote gender equality and healthy living.
Volunteers provide the perfect complement to our services. They bring varied skills, experiences and ideas to our organisation and help to enhance the support we can provide to our service users.
